Rachel Clara Reed

Family | Relationship | Restorative Justice

Rachel is an experienced facilitator with a deep belief in the power of creating compassionate spaces for individuals to share their stories, connect and repair. After taking the Dialogue Road Map year long training with us in 2024, Rachel creates powerful spaces using DRM to be able to sit with difficult conversations in all kinds of relationships. Rachel brings participants together in a world that feels increasingly fractured and polarized with ease.

A firm believer in transformative justice, Rachel is interested in disrupting punitive responses to conflict and harm, while imagining into reality new ways of living and relating.

After experiencing a parent dying early in life, Rachel became attuned to the difficulty of speaking about death, loss, and grief in many cultures, and went on her own journey of healing, including training as a death doula—someone who holistically, non-medically supports individuals at the end of life—in 2022. Since then, she has hosted dozens of death dinners, which are facilitated conversations gently exploring our personal relationships to mortality. Rachel is also a documentary filmmaker.
